Donald Hibbard Angus was one of Hawaiʻi’s most important collectors of Hawaiian and Pacific island art. Between 1992 and 1995, Angus donated approximately 1,300 botanical illustrations from the sixteenth through nineteenth centuries to Bishop Museum. Included in this set of notecards is a sampling of six images from this impressive collection including plumeria, hibiscus, bird of paradise, gardenia, and calla lily.
